women in wheelchair on the beach during sunset

Hello!

My name is Rocio Villalobos. I’m an illustrator and designer currently living in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in El Salvador and I moved to LA in 2009.

As a kid, I enjoyed drawing and crafts. When I was 19, I took a painting class at a hospital where I had a spinal fusion surgery. This was a challenging time for me and painting helped in my recovery. It was after this that I decided to pursue art as a career. My illustrations are about my life experiences as a disabled woman. I love to work with watercolors, digital painting, tattoos, and print making. When I’m not drawing you can find me exploring nature and looking for wheelchair accessible hiking trails.
